Episode 9: Paula Van Ness - Community Foundation of Southern Arizona

Howdy T-Lokes - we have a great episode for you this week! Today we talked to Paula Van Ness from the Center for Healthy Non-profits here in Tucson. We talk about the troubles growing nonprofits may encounter, and how the CHNP can help, by providing resources, education, and grant-writing classes. This is a must listen!

Paula Van Ness, MS is a seasoned nonprofit executive with more than 45 years in CEO/Executive Director positions locally and nationally. Her national and local board service also spans more than 40 years, including chairing boards for the Gift of Adoption Fund and Safe Parking Los Angeles as well as serving as an officer for National AIDS Network, KaBOOM! and Independent Sector.  She currently serves on the Pima Community College Foundation Board and St. Francis in the Foothills Church Council. 

She has a master’s degree in organizational development from the University of San Francisco and currently serves as the Director of the Center for Healthy Nonprofits at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona.
